What is E-Giving & How does It work?
What is E-Giving?
E-Giving is short for electronic giving. With E-Giving you are able to log onto a secure banking site and establish a member account that allows you to make a contribution via credit or debit card. Once you authorize the transaction, your specified contribution is transferred directly from your checking or savings account to the organization’s account.
What is the advantage of E-Giving?
It saves time! It saves work! It simplifies your life! Additionally, E-Giving allows you to print out a detailed statement for all of your online E-Giving transactions.
What can I use to put into the collection basket?
The ministry is automatically notified when you make an E-giving contribution. If, however, you would like to have something to place into the collection basket, the system allows you to print out an acknowledgement page that is shaped like a giving envelope. You can cut it out and put it into the collection basket.
Is electronic giving safe?
Electronic giving is one of the safest ways to give! E-Giving involves significantly less risk than a check contribution. Your contribution cannot be lost, stolen or destroyed in the mail. With E-Giving you control when and how transactions are processed.
What if I only want to give on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis?
With E-Giving you choose your desired frequency for giving. You may make a one time gift, or establish an automatic recurring gift. You also have the option to have your deductions run for only a certain period of time;
How much does electronic giving cost?
It costs you nothing and saves you time. The organization pays nominal transaction fees – the lowest available. ;
What if I try it and don’t like it?
You may easily cancel your E-Giving deductions at any time via your E-Giving member profile.;
